Hormones/ irregular period

Itzel17

So I'm almost 22 and still dealing with acne. Thing is that it's around my lower check and jaw line. So from what I've read, I'm pretty sure my hormones are going crazy. Another thing is that I've never had a regular period schedule. I don't even know what it feels like to know when my period is going to come. I'm pretty sure that's not normal. So does anyone know what I should do? I've read that some birth control could help with regulating your period. Should I go on the pill or no? Any advice?

If you are into natural remedies I would try the brand DōTERRA. They have a essential oil called ClaryCalm...... it really helps. You can put it on the outside of your right foot.

And this will help regulate my hormones?

If you're not afraid of birth control it's an option for sure. When I 14 i was placed on birth control due to my period. It helped regulate it and my hormones. It also helped with acne and pain. I've always had acne but it gets way worse dying period time. It's an option I recommend you talking to your doctor about. There's a plethora of other options besides the pill too. They will help you make the right choice.

I went on birth control when I was about 18 because for years I had really long irregular periods and some months I wouldn’t get it but others I’d have it for a hole month! It was horrible! I went on the Evra patch and now I have regular periods every month lasting about 4-7 days!
