Is it normal to gain weight 5 days before your period and during? And how many pounds? I have been working out so hard and eating extremely healthy and just keep going up but just started my period so should I wait until after to weigh myself?
Yes. It is customary to gain 2 - 5 pounds during your period. This is generally from water weight as hormone imbalance makes us drink more during that time. You may also notice your stomach is bigger (bloated) as well. I would suggest passing on the scale until at least a few days after your cycle concludes. All the best!
